We simplify our fees so that they are easy to understand and to budget. First of all, we don’t charge fees for filing or administration. The only fee paid is at the arbitrator’s hourly rate, which may be found listed within each individual’s information page with the “Panel Members” section of this website.

At the beginning of each arbitration, the chosen arbitrator meets with all parties to outline a procedure. At that point, anticipated fees and expenses are estimated and all parties agree to the estimate. The parties then deposit their respective shares of charges into a trust account through Conflict Solutions.

We provide the parties with a description of the arbitrator’s activity in the case along with a monthly accounting of charges. If the case concludes ahead of schedule, we refund from escrow. If it goes longer, we let you know ahead of time, so there are no surprises.

Pro-bono/Reduced Fee Services

We believe that everyone deserves equal access to negotiated dispute resolution. However, many people who are bound by contract to mediation clauses cannot afford to avail themselves such a remedy.
